“We have a Message for Sustainable World” Exhibition

"Every day, the world expects more from us: sensitivity, transformation, and awareness through design. The students of the Graphic Design Department at Yalova University Faculty of Art and Design are listening to this call; reminding us of the designer's responsibility towards nature.
With this belief, the works produced by our students in the 2nd year Typography Course and the 3rd year Packaging Design Course reflect this belief and sensitivity towards responsibility.
Our second-year Graphic Design students draw attention to the environmental problems facing our planet with their ‘Poster for a Sustainable World’ designs, utilizing the powerful expressive potential of typography; they aim to create social awareness by translating the power of the poster's message into visual language.
Our third-year students, on the other hand, address the importance of sustainability in packaging design by designing eco-friendly sock labels; thus questioning how packaging, which is part of the culture of consumption, can be made more sensitive and in harmony with nature through design.
"Every language produced through graphic design is a mark left on the future. This mark either consumes or transforms.
We choose to transform.
That is why this exhibition is a call for designers to take on their social and environmental responsibility.
We invite all our participants to the online opening of the exhibition on July 8, 2025; we call on you to think, feel, and take action together. Because we know that the future will be designed together....
